Myriad Paths was born from the vision of a group of people with deep roots in Trifylia, who share the same passion for showcasing the Messinian land and local heritage. For us, touring is not a simple guided walk, but a gateway into the authentic soul of our land, where gastronomy, wine tastings, culture and nature unite into a single, unforgettable experience. With absolute attention to detail and deep knowledge of the region, we design routes that transform every visitor into a true explorer, ready to discover the hidden secrets and traditions that make Messinia unique.
At the heart of our philosophy lies an unwavering commitment to a sustainable future, as we believe that tourism must operate with respect for the environment and society. We actively embody the principles of sustainability, aligning every one of our activities with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We strengthen the local economy and small family businesses, contributing to Decent Work and Economic Growth (Goal 8), while promoting Responsible Consumption and Production (Goal 12) through the promotion of local products and traditional cultivation methods. At the same time, through our experiential activities, we care for Life on Land (Goal 15), protecting the biodiversity of the Messinian landscape and ensuring that our rich tradition will be passed on unchanged to future generations. Fire & Sunset: The Art of the Wood-Fired Oven
At the outdoor area of the Mantis Hotel, Myriad Paths invites you to discover one of the oldest and most vibrant customs of the Messinian countryside. Around the traditional wood-fired oven, where fire and time create flavor, we set a table dedicated to the authentic hospitality of our land. Part 1: The Preparation & The Lighting We begin the traditional way: lighting the oven with local wood. It's a process that requires patience and knowledge, which we share with you as we prepare our meal. We use ingredients gathered from the kitchen gardens of Filiatra and the exceptional extra virgin Myriad olive oil, emphasizing the purity of the raw material. Part 2: The Wait at Sunset While the oven maintains its temperature and the food slow-cooks, we savor the moment. With a glass of wine from the Trifylia vineyards in hand, we watch the sunset in the hotel garden. It is the hour of company and relaxation, just as people have lived it for generations, waiting for the oven to open. Part 3: The Dinner The experience concludes around the monastery table. We taste the result of slow cooking in the wood-fired oven, a deep and authentic flavor that only traditional methods can offer. Currant & Soul: A Living Reenactment of Trifylian Prosperity
Myriad Paths invites you to a multisensory experience at our family vineyard in Filiatra. Here, gastronomic tradition meets digital archaeology, bringing to life the "Golden Age" of Messinia. Part 1: Artisanal Dough Workshop In an authentic outdoor workshop, we connect with the raw materials of our land. We learn the technique of preparing traditional dough, enriched with Filiatra's famous raisins and local honey. This is not just a cooking class, but an initiation into the culinary heritage that sustained the region's economy for centuries. Part 2: Digital Time Travel (Virtual Reality) While our creation is being prepared, technology takes over the narration. Putting on the VR glasses, we are transported back to 1890. Through the eyes of an archaeologist, you will see the "Little Paris" come to life: the harbors, the loading of the "black gold" and the iconic Tower of Filiatra in its original splendor. Part 3: The Taste of History The experience concludes under the shade of olive trees. Trifylian Gastronomy: A Farm-to-Table Experiential Workshop
Myriad Paths invites you to a comprehensive initiation into the flavors, aromas and history of the Messinian land. Our experience is hosted at the Stasinopoulos Winery and is a living application of our philosophy for preserving and showcasing local heritage. Part 1: Traditional Cooking Workshop Under the guidance of our chef, you participate in an interactive workshop where the authentic recipes of Filiatra come to life. You are not mere spectators — you learn the techniques, work with local raw ingredients and discover the secrets of Trifylian cuisine preserved unchanged for a century. Throughout this process, we use exclusively zero-kilometer products, enhancing the sustainability of local production. Part 2: Wine Tour & Science As our creations are being prepared, winemaker Dimos Stasinopoulos personally leads a tour of his winery facilities. Through the eyes of a specialist with advanced studies, you will learn about the journey from harvest to winemaking. This educational experience showcases the sustainable management of the vineyards and respect for the ecosystem that protects the unique biodiversity of the Messinian landscape. Part 3: Taste Completion & Pairing The experience culminates around the monastery table of the winery. There, we have the opportunity to taste the creations from our workshop, accompanied by a targeted tasting of three select labels from the estate.
